Ons is n klein groepie kinders wat onderrig ontvang volgens elke kind se eie behoefte en vordering. Ons is op n kleinhoewe waar die kinders vrye toegang het tot baie spasie om te speel en kind te wees.
Ons leer deur te speel en eksperimenteer en waar moontlik prakties te werk. Ons is ten volle tweetalig en verskaf al ons onderrig in beide tale soos individuele benodig.
Ons klassies is klein om individuele aandag te verseker. Ons klasgrootte wissel volgens die ouderdomme wat ons het, maar ons neem ‘n maksimum van 10 kinders per klas in.
We are a small group of children who receive education according to each child’s own need and progress. We are on a smallholding where the children have free access to plenty of space to play and be a child.
We learn by playing and experimenting and working practically when possible. We are fully bilingual and provide all our tuition in both languages as individually required.
Our classes are small to ensure individual attention. Our class size varies according to the ages we have, we take in a maximum of 10 children per class.

Na tien suksesvolle jare van tuisskool met my eie twee kinders, Charles Malherbe en Marieka Malherbe, het ek besluit om uit te reik na ander ouers wat graag hulle kinders wil tuisskool, maar weens verskeie redes nie self daartoe instaat is nie. Eben-ezer is plek waar kinders nog kan kindwees. Ons leer deur speel, ons bied baie praktiese onderrig om die akademiese werk beter te verstaan en ons almal werk hard aan ons doelwitte. Dit is my passie om 'n goeie opvoeding aan kinders te gee, in 'n veilige familie omgewing, en by Eben-ezer is hierdie visie daagliks deel van my lewe. Ek is geseënd om ‘n fantastiese span tutors aan my sy te hê.

After ten successful years of homeschooling with my own two children, Charles Malherbe and Marieka Malherbe, I decided to reach out to other parents who would like to homeschool their children, but are not able to do so themselves due to various reasons. Eben-ezer is place where children can still be a child. We learn through play, we provide a lot of hands-on instruction to better understand the academic work and we all work hard towards our goals. It is my passion to give a good education to children, in a safe family environment, and at Eben-ezer, this vision is a daily part of my life. I am blessed to have a fantastic team of tutors by my side.
Charles Malherbe
Charles is ons HOD vir die Senior fase. Charles is ‘n uitstekende tutor met hope ondervinding in die onderrig van kinders van alle ouderdomme. Charles is self ‘n tuisskool gegradueerde met verskeie kwalifikasies as tuisskoler verwerf, onder andere die GED® en Nasionale Tegniese opleiding. Charles is geseënd met die gawe om met tieners te werk.
Charles Malherbe
Charles is our HOD for the Senior Phase. Charles is an excellent tutor with vast experience in tutoring children of all ages. Charles is a homeschool graduate with various qualifications obtained as homeschooler, amongst these GED® and National Technical training. Charles is blessed with the gift of working with teenagers.
Marieka Malherbe
Marieka is ons GED-® en senior fase-tutor. Marieka het baie ondervinding in die onderrig van kinders van alle ouderdomme. Marieka is 'n tuisskoolgegradueerde met verskeie kwalifikasies wat as tuisskoler verwerf is, onder andere Cambridge AS-vlakke en sy spog ook met ‘n Diploma in Engels.
Claudene Smit
Claudene is ons HOD vir die Junior en Intermediêre fase. Claudene spog met verskeie kwalifikasies in die onderwysomgewing en het baie ondervinding in die onderrig van kinders van verskillende ouderdomme en spesialiseer ook in kinders met spesiale behoeftes. Claudene is ook Noodhulp Vlak 2 gesertifiseerd.
Claudene Smit
Claudene is our HOD for the Junior and Intermediate phase. Claudene boasts with various qualifications in the education environment and has lots of experience tutoring children of various ages and specializes in children with special needs. Claudene is also First Aid Level 2 certified.
Leonie Holtzhausen
Leonie is die jongste toevoeging tot ons tutorsentrum. Leonie kom met 'n skatkis vol ervaring met kinders. Haar kwalifikasies sluit in omvattende opleiding in kinderontwikkeling en sielkunde sowel as noodhulpvlak 1-sertifisering. Leonie vorm deel van ons Junior/Intermediêre Afdeling.
Leonie Holtzhausen
Leonie is the latest addition to our Tutor Centre. Leonie comes with a treasure chest full of experience with children. Her qualifications include comprehensive training in Childhood Development and Psychology as well as First Aid level 1 certification. Leonie forms part of our Junior/Intermediate Division.
WHAT OUR PARENTS SAY
Our daughter goes to Eben-ezer because she needs special attention due to her having dyslexia, she needs help to focus in a no stress environment, that only such a centre can provide. She keeps falling behind on grades, and struggles to focus, teacher's at government schools can not work at your child's learning ability and attend to every child's special needs. Thus we designed to let her join the support centre were she is able to get the best help.
We have our 3 kids in Ebenezer Academy home schooling help centre and we are really happy the growth we have seen in our kids since we have pulled them out the main stream school and put them there is phenomenal.
Also they interact more with nature and animals and God is taught about and praised in this school which government schools are no longer doing.
Our grandson had problems with his learning abilities to concentrate at the big school environment, so we have decided to Home school him. I have tried to Home school him myself, but was diagnosed with a condition about 2 years ago. I’ve been in bed more days that was possible to help him. I then asked Erieka to please help him with this. I am very happy that I have asked Erieka, as he is thriving at the Centre, as he is happy to be in an environment where he can enjoy the life on a plot.
Ons het 2 kinders in die Leersentrum. Ons is baie tevrede met die spesiale aandag wat hul kry en so nodig het, wat hul nie sou kry in gewone skool nie. Hier is geen boelies nie en kinders kan net hulself wees. Hul leer beter want hul voel goed oor hulself.
My dogter kon nie voorheen by ‘n skool regkom nie, maar vandat sy by die Leersentrum is kom sy mooi reg. Die een wat voorheen teruggehou was in ‘n gewone skool kon na die volgende graad vorder hier. Ons sal nie ons kinders weer in ‘n gewone skool terugsit nie, want hulle kry meer aandag en spesiale hulp hier by die sentrum.
